CFW was established to help donors, churches, ministries and professional advisors promote Smart Giving. That's the simple concept behind Christian Foundation of the West. Through the foundations charitable tools, services and expert counsel, CFW helps support a broad range of ministries.

It has been estimated that $10-13 trillion dollars in inheritances will be transferred to the baby boomer generation within the next 10-20 years*, yet most people will not give consideration to their church, or favorite ministry in their will or trust. It is CFW's desire to help educate and challenge them to include a charitable gift. CFW also believes that God has already prepared the hearts of many generous givers. It is CFW's desire to enable and encourage these faithful stewards to give wisely.

The most common way to make an immediate gift is by writing a check, but cash is not always the smartest asset to give. CFW can demonstrate to a donor how they can give other highly appreciated properties and bypass taxes.

Churches and Ministries offer their members and supporters the same innovative ways of giving, which can lead to significant tax savings for the donor and new funding sources for their church or organization.
